June marks Pride Month, a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community and a reminder of the importance of visibility, representation, and more.

For Pride, we’re highlighting gyms and studios raising awareness and funds for LGBTQ+ rights and issues through workout classes and other initiatives. Check out what they’re offering below.

Rowgatta

NYC studio Rowgatta, which offers HILIT (high-intensity, low-impact training) bootcamp classes (with a focus on rowing when the team’s in the studio) is hosting a virtual Pride Workout on June 27. All proceeds will go to The OUT Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to helping the LGBTQ+ community overcome obstacles to access health, fitness, and wellness. Like many of Rowgatta’s other virtual classes, this workout will feature only bodyweight exercises so anyone can participate even if they don’t have a rower. Registration is free, but Rowgatta has included suggested donation amounts during the sign-up process. You can also book this Pride Workout on Gympass(but be sure to check out the donation page, too!).
